Surefire offers the option to enable or disable notifications, as well as choose which notifications are active. Notifications are based on contact data, automated activities, and/or tasks that are assigned by the user themselves or someone else.
A user can access Notification Settings in two ways:
- The gear icon seen in the menu that appears when the bell icon is selected
- The gear icon in the top right of the Notification Center (My Account > Notification Center in left menu)
From here, a user can adjust the following settings:
- Enable/Disable Notifications
- Auto-Archive Days
Automatically archive Notifications after a set number of days (between 1 and 365)
Select which types of Notifications you want to receive (or ignore) from the existing options
Save when complete.
By default, Notifications are enabled, and only specific Notifications are active.
There are two options for notifications...
- In App - which is represented by the bell at the top right of the user interface.
- Or via email.
There are also two different timing types of notifications, Real Time and either Daily or Weekly Summary.
A user can click on the bell icon to see a preview of your most recent Notifications.
To see all Notifications, go to My Profile > Notifications in the left hand menu or click See All Notifications from the contextual menu that appears when you click on the bell icon.
The types of actions that trigger Notifications include, but are not limited to:
- Contact Birthday
- Deployment Start
- Form Submission
- Zapier Submission
- Incoming SMS
- Suggested Deployment
From here you can see a full summary of your Notifications and have the option to perform the following actions:

To declutter your inbox, you can choose to filter by Notification Type
Type a word or phrase to search Notifications in your Current or Archive tabs. Note that a search will only affect the active tab.
